Stick War: Legacy takes the whole stickman fighting thing and makes it way more addictive than it has any right to be. You start small, but next thing you know, you're in the middle of these huge chaotic battles - and yeah, you just can't put it down.

What's the goal? Simple: wreck the enemy's statue before they wreck yours. Sounds easy, right? Then they just keep throwing wave after wave of troops at you, and suddenly you're sweating. You can't just spam units and pray - you actually need a plan. Watch your gold, pick the right fighters, and don't screw up.

Gold is everything. You can let your guys mine on their own, or if you're impatient like me, jump in and manually control them to squeeze out a little extra. And when things get messy, you're not stuck playing offense or defense - you can switch up your whole battle plan anytime. Keeps things from getting stale.

Here's the deal with the modes:

• Classic Campaign - teaches you the basics. Starts easy, then slowly cranks up the difficulty as you push into new areas.
• Tournament Mode - now it gets real. Tougher opponents, and what units you pick starts to matter a lot more. You'll actually need a brain to win.
• Endless Zombies - just survive. Waves keep coming, and you see how long your army can hold out. Spoiler: not that long.

As you play, you unlock upgrades for your units. And they actually change how things play out - miners get faster, swordsmen hit harder, archers finally stop being useless. Every upgrade actually does something.

Then there's the shop. You buy stuff with crystals - powerful bonuses, unique items, the works. Grab the right thing at the right time, and it can totally flip a fight you were definitely about to lose.
